About the Artwork

In the front I painted a speckled camellia using red and white overglaze enamel and the leaves using white overglaze enamel. Going around to the back of the jar, the leaves turn gray. I tried to express the flow of time from day to night.

I separated the elements of the flowers and leaves, and rearranged them as “a camellia one day” to express what I felt through a flower.
